Board members have all the benefits of membership ten-fold. While Board membership implies more responsibilities, it also provides more rewards from being part of the team that shapes the agenda and chooses the projects. Peace Corps Volunteers are typically movers and shakers and the best place to do that is on the Board. At the bi-monthly meetings board members have the opportunity to recommend activities and projects and to help refine proposals that are brought before the board.
