NPCA Annual Gathering June 29-July 1

NPCA is hosting an Annual Gathering to bring everyone together for an RPCV-style national family reunion this summer.  Our local RPCV groups report that hosting social events is a great way to bring new members to the local groups and we are taking that idea to the national level.  After surveys and lots of conversations, we have heard the message loud and clear that our NPCA members want to get together and strategize about important issues and also have a great time re-connecting with friends.  So, NPCA is hosting Peace Corps Connect: Minneapolis 2012 – which will hopefully become an annual event, hosted by different regions.The Minneapolis event includes several breakout sessions you’ve asked for, including group leadership succession, how to start a non-profit, and career transitions, and also has an option for all of the RPCV filmmakers to show off their work.  You also are invited to attend the Board meeting, and to participate in the Annual General Meeting of the NPCA membership.  If you haven’t yet looked at the schedule and registered, please do so by visiting this page on our NPCA site: http://www.peacecorpsconnect.org/annual-gathering/2012-schedule/
