As a Peace Corps alumni group one of the primary goals of RPCVSF is to support and promote Peace Corps. RPCVSF raises $1500 each year to help current Peace Corps Volunteers complete Peace Corps Partnership projects in developing communities around the world. When recruiters from the Atlanta Peace Corps office come to Miami, RPCVSF members frequently accompany them at recruiting events. RPCVSF invites Peace Corps nominees, recruits and their families to a picnic each spring to offer our encouragement and support. Members respond to requests from the National Peace Corps Association (NPCA) when it is necessary to lobby our representatives
Returned Peace Corps Volunteers South Florida
Social events, service projects, advocacy, and educational activities provide returned volunteers with the chance to connect with other returned volunteers in the South Florida area.
